JCIN-UI Reaffirms Commitment, Ends Online Registration for Tunde Oshobi Public Forum 2022

As Nigeria moves steadily towards yet another critical period in its history, Junior Chamber International Nigeria University of Ibadan (JCIN-UI) has reaffirmed its commitment to the promises made to all registered participants of the Tunde Oshobi Public Forum 2022 as the event day approaches.

This is contained in a statement signed by one of the directors of the event, Waheed Ojo, on Friday in Ibadan.


The event will be held on the 12th of October, 2022 at the Dilay Consult Event Centre, Bodija, Ibadan, with the theme: "2023 Elections: Reshaping Nigeria's Future."


According to Mr. Ojo, "Following the principles that bind us and the legacy of those who have come before us, we have taken it as a responsibility to organize the 2022 Tunde Oshobi Public Forum, whose objective is to discuss and find lasting solutions to contemporary national issues in Nigeria."


"We aim to give participants an insightful and thought-provoking session from both the theme speaker and our panelists with the hope of inspiring actions toward reshaping Nigeria's future as reflected in our theme," said Mr. Ojo.


He further stated that part of the core objectives of the event is to give participants a platform to connect and network with high-level stakeholders in Nigeria, especially JCI, which is an organization that shines as a beacon of hope to many.


"While we have closed registrations for the event, we assure you that refreshments, souvenirs, and all the other goodies we are planning will surpass the imagination of our guests. "There might be a cocktail session after the event," he added.


The Chairman of the Tunde Oshobi Public Forum 2022 is Barrister Tola Oshobi, SAN, Partner, Babalakin & Co Law Firm, while the theme speaker is Dr. Seye Oyeleye, Director General, Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN Commission).


Professor Remi Aiyede, Samson Akindele, political analyst and General Manager of Fresh FM 107.9FM Abeokuta, and Hon. Seyi Adisa, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing the Afijio State Constituency, will serve as panelists at the event, which will be moderated by Monisola Salahudeen.
