ACYY partners Ekiti State Government on Youth Development Projects

In a bid to advocate for the interests of the youth population in the Yoruba region, the Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths (ACYY) has partnered with the Ekiti State Government on Youth Development Projects.

This was made known in a statement on Wednesday by Comrade Ayinde Abduljaleel, the National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths (ACYY).


During the group's visit to the offices of the Commissioner for Youths, the Senior Special Adviser on Youth, and the Senior Special Adviser on Special Duties in Ekiti State, Ayinde explained that the purpose of the visit was to engage with key government officials and discuss how the youth community can benefit from government policies and initiatives.


He said, "We presented a comprehensive list of suggestions and proposals aimed at empowering young people and creating more opportunities for them to thrive. The ACYY highlighted the importance of investing in youth development programs, education, skills training, and entrepreneurship opportunities."


Ayinde noted that the group emphasized the need for mentorship programs, job placements, and access to financial support for young entrepreneurs.

"We stressed the significance of creating a conducive environment for youth participation in governance and decision-making processes," he added.


"The government officials were receptive to the ideas we presented, and they expressed their commitment to work with us to implement positive changes for the youth community. They also acknowledged the valuable contributions that young people can make to society and recognized the importance of supporting their aspirations and ambitions."
