The Alliance of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Shettima-National Support Group (ABATS-NSG) has expressed its unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, following his recent election as President of Nigeria.

On June 7, 2023, Honourable (Arc.) Ibrahim Almustapha Aliyu, the Director General of ABATS-NSG and the Honourable Member representing Wurno/Rabah Federal Constituency, Sokoto State, warmly welcomed the National Working Committee (NWC) of the organization to his office in the National Assembly, Abuja.


Led by the National Convener of ABATS-NSG, Honourable Dr. Rizqat Adunola, the NWC directors engaged in constructive discussions with members of the National Assembly. Present at the meeting were Dr. Steve Arowolo, the Director of Strategic Communications, Hon. Iyiola Olayiwola, the Director of Organization & Grassroot Mobilization, Alh. Imam Ahmed-Tijjani, the Director of Protocols & Logistics, and Comrade Noor'deen Babatunde, the Director of Finance and Budget.

Hon. Austin Ogwutche, representing the Chairman of the Council of Elders Committee, Alh. AbdulMajeed Buhari, expressed the committee's support and commitment to the ideals of ABATS-NSG. Other prominent members of the organization, including Hon. Abiodun Fayemi and Mallam Abdul Jeleel, were also in attendance.

During her opening speech, Hon. Dr. Rizqat Adunola prayed for peace in Sokoto and Nigeria, while commending the exemplary leadership of the Director General in his constituency and the nation at large. She expressed gratitude to the DG for accepting the responsibility of serving as the Director General of ABATS-NSG and introduced the leadership team to the audience.

The National Convener emphasized that ABATS-NSG aims to positively project the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. She highlighted the importance of good governance and ensuring that the dividends of democracy are experienced by all Nigerians during the current administration. ABATS-NSG intends to bridge the communication gap between the government and the people, with its impact reaching all 774 local governments in Nigeria.

Furthermore, the National Convener emphasized the need to utilize both conventional and new media platforms to promote the Director General's work and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. ABATS-NSG aims to foster social and economic inclusion that will contribute to unity in Nigeria.

In response, the Director General expressed his appreciation to Hon. Dr. Rizqat Adunola and her team for their commitment in organizing the meeting amidst their busy schedules. He expressed his happiness and honored the appointment as the Director General of ABATS-NSG, assuring the organization of his dedicated service and adherence to the leadership mandate with integrity and diligence.

The Director General highlighted that ABATS-NSG's vision would assist President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in propagating his economic policies and programs, as well as enlightening Nigerians about government initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty. He tasked ABATS-NSG with promoting peace, good citizenship, and educating Nigerians about the removal of fuel subsidy and other significant government policies.

Additionally, the Director General emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would implement a merit-based reform system in Nigeria, rewarding party members and patriotic citizens, particularly in the areas of education, employment, and the economy. He described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a politician with impeccable credentials, who has risen through the ranks.

The Director General reiterated the importance of the renewed hope agenda of the administration and challenged ABATS-NSG to educate and enlighten Nigerians about its significance.

In his closing remarks, He assured ABATS-NSG that the official inauguration would be a national event, fully supported by the Director General's office. He shared the three main focuses of the inauguration event, which include Widows and Youth Empowerment, National Awards, and a victory party.

Dr. Steve Arowolo, the ABATS-NSG Director of Strategic Communications and facilitator of the courtesy visit, expressed gratitude to the Director General, leaders, and members of ABATS-NSG for the successful visit.

The courtesy visit serves as a testament to the dedication and commitment of ABATS-NSG in supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, promoting good governance, and fostering national development.
