The Federal Commissioner disclosed this while featuring on Sobi FM radio program ‘Home Front programme’, in Ilorin on Wednesday.

He said the commission had been asked to hold on for the incoming administration to negotiate the time and modalities of how the exercise would be prosecuted in the country.

Speaking on preparations for the 2023 census, Gidado said the commission had decided to digitize the process in a way that negates and instill equality among the people.

The Federal Commissioner affirmed that the commission was fully prepared to conduct another census in the country.

Gidado appealed to the people to support the commission in carrying out its onerous responsibility for the growth and development of the nation.
