Code for Africa's 'Roundtable Discussion on Fighting Election Misinformation and Disinformation in Nigeria'

The event will bring together media professionals to discuss trends observed during the 2023 Nigerian election regarding misinformation and disinformation.

As a case study, the event will focus on the challenges that media professionals faced when monitoring for misinformation and disinformation during the election and how they can effectively debunk false claims. 

 

The roundtable discussion also aims to identify practical ways to address these challenges.
