Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu says his administration will continue to create enabling environment for entrepreneurs and businesses to thrive.

Governor Akeredolu spoke at the Entrepreneurs’ Summit held at the International Centre for Culture and Events (The DOME) in Akure, the state capital.



This summit brought together young entrepreneurs from different fields with the sole aim of harnessing their potential.


Organized by the State Entrepreneurship Agency, the summit allowed participants to meet, rub minds, and exchange ideas



Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in his speech said creating an enabling environment is a major driver in achieving business goals.


He pointed to his administration’s efforts on security and infrastructural development as some of the basic arrangements put in place to ensure enabling environment for entrepreneurs and investors to do business with ease.



The Special Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development, Summy Smart-Francis, encouraged the young entrepreneurs


Panelists at the summit also gave antidotes to making businesses flourish



At the event, the Governor gave out one thousand free Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration Certificates to businesses and presented business grants to ten innovative entrepreneurs.


The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria who also doubles as the Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum has been an advocate of empowering the Youth through his years as governor of the State and this is the latest in the Series of efforts aimed at ensuring he puts his money where his mouth is.


He has also played his part by helping in empowering women in his State and spreading the gospel of empowerment for Women and Youth across the South Western Region of the Country.


The Governor is also the South West Coordinator of the Presidential Campaign of the All Progressives Congress in the South West.



He is expected to lead the campaign of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the region and has been meeting interest groups as part of activities aimed at ensuring that he delivers on his mandate.
