The telecommunication company who reportedly lost over 100,000 subscribers of its Nigerian userbase in a month decided to dish out 4GB free mobile data via My Airtel App and My Airtel TV.
The data is officially available to any user who download, login and activate any of the app.
My Airtel App gives Free 1GB data while My Airtel TV provides users with access to free 3GB data subscription usable on PC and Mobile devices.
This offer is available to Nigerians and Ghanaians can also enjoy 1GB free data on Vodafone when they download and login to Vodafone app.
All sims are eligible to this offer.
Unfortunately for Ghanaians using Vodafone, 1GB data via My Airtel App is only valid for just 1 Day, according to EntClassBlog.
For Nigerians, 1GB data is valid for just 6 Days.

How to Activate Free 1GB Data on Airtel Nigeria and My Vodafone Ghana via My Airtel App
1. Download and Install My Airtel App via respective application mobile store - Google Playstore for Android users, Apple Store for iOS users.
For Nigerians: Google Playstore, Apple Store
For Ghanaians: Download My Vodafone app via Google Playstore, Apple Store
2. Launch My Airtel App after downloading.
3. Signup with your Airtel or Vodafone number - simply input your mobile number in the on screen box (that shows after opening the app).
4. Verify your account with the one-time OTP that will be sent. Ensure your Airtel or Vodafone sim is inserted inside the Mobile device the app is installed as the OTP is automatically detected.
Note - the OTP won't work without detecting the sim automatically.
5. Once signed on, just wait for about 5 minutes or more for your FREE 1GB Data.
6. A confirmation message text message will be sent.
'Congratulations, you have been credited with Free Airtel App Download data bonus. Dial *140# to check your free data.'

1. Download and Install Airtel TV App via Google Playstore for Android users or Apple Store for iOS users.
2. Launch My Airtel App after downloading.
Note - your internet connection must be on Airtel Network to access Airtel TV App.
3. Register with your Airtel mobile number and email (optional)
4. Activate your account with the OTP sent and you will be logged on Airtel TV App.
Kindly wait for Airtel to credit your mobile data account with 3GB data.
Ensure to check your mobile data balance as Airtel NG may not send a confrimation SMS.
3GB mobile data is exclusively usable ONLY on Airtel TV App for streaming.
