How do you intend to cope with life without the silicon valley located online social media and social networking service company that enables people to connect, share, discover and communicate with each other on mobile devices and personal computers?

Facebook, Inc. suffered its third major wordlwide outage and biggest interruption on Sunday, 14th April, 2019, as users across the world were unable to access the social network or its suite of services such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.

According to BloomBerg, Downdetector, a site that tracks website outages, reported problems with Facebook starting as early as 6.30 a.m Sunday morning in New York.  The report also states that users in Asia, Europe and the U.S were also affected.

"Earlier today, some people may have experienced trouble connecting to the family of apps. The issue has since been resolved; we’re sorry for any inconvenience,"

Even though Facebook has since restored services, users of the social networking site took to Twitter, (Facebook's biggest rival) to vent out their anger, while the outage lasted.

They trended hashtags such as #FaceBookDown, #WhatsAppDown, #InstagramDown to announce how frustrating the outage affected their individual lives.

Now imagine, what will happen to billions of users across the world if Facebook seizes to exist?
