Drums Rolling!!! ♫♫

Techpoint.ng was founded in January, 2015 by Adewale Yusuf and Muyiwa Matuluko as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Editor/Co-founder, respectively.

Techpremier Media (Techpoint.africa), a leading media platform dedicated to startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology which has continue to grow and develop over the past few years, recently re-branded to focus more on the African continent.

Let's Take A little flashback on What TechPoint Offered in 2018

  • Techpoint Build is all About Startups and SMEs

In January of 2018, Techpoint hosted over 4,000 people at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria for the first edition of Techpoint Build, startup and SME conference.

The feedback was amazing and Techpoint is preparing to anchor the second edition (West African edition).

It is scheduled for January 26, 2019 at the same venue.

  • Techpoint Inspired was Fire 🔥🔥🔥

On May 29, 2018, the 2nd edition of Techpoint Inspired took place at the Pistis Conference Centre, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

The turnout was great and the event was also a great one.

This year, 2019, the third edition is expected to be bigger and better.

  • Techpoint re-branded by going Africa-wide

As ITSALLISAY noted earlier, Techpoint re-branded.

It went Pan-African and changed its domain from .ng to .africa in August, 2018.

It was followed by a tour of West Africa.

Ghana, Togo and Republic of Benin, were the countries visited and the first Ghana edition of Techpoint Pitch Friday was also hosted during the tour.

  • News Reportage in French

According to Techpoint, while on the West Africa tour, it was discovered that - there are little or no partnerships between Anglophone West African countries and Francophone West African countries.

It was also discovered that one of the major challenges is the language and in an attempt to fix the issue, the platform began to publish in French.
