CANADA HIGH COMMISSION TO HOST DECEMBER EDITION OF #SDGSSTORY

The High Commission of Canada, Abuja is set to host young Nigerians driving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Abuja. The December SDGsStory hangout will hold on Thursday, December 13th, 2018 in Abuja; the event is a monthly initiative of the Nigeria Youth SDGs Network which brings together young Nigerians who are actively working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.




This month's hangout themed "NIGERIA'S 2018 SDGS SCORECARD" is focused on evaluating the performance of Nigeria and will equally help position more youths to innovate better approach of driving the Global Goals  and in holding government more accountable.

Impressively, many young people in Nigeria, along with others across the world have been able to key into the Sustainable Development Goals framework which is aimed at making impacts that would make the world a suitable place for everyone to live.

The Nigeria Youths SDGs Network with over 1100 network members is a leading platform at the forefront of coordinating, inspiring and enabling young People across the country through robust conversations, numerous engagements and providing technical supports around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Young people, in or around Abuja, who work actively across various scopes of the Global Goals are welcomed to be part of the December edition of the SDGsStory Hangout. Dignitaries from the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Office of the Vice President and well as some members of the diplomatic corps will be in attendance.
