British Photographer, James Haggerty Dies In Moped Crash In Cyprus

According to a report by The Guardian, A 20-year-old photographer has died in a moped crash in Cyprus. James Haggerty, from Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, is understood to have been working at several nightclubs and beach parties in the resort of Ayia Napa. The moped he was riding hit a bus at a junction on Tuesday morning. A woman passenger, reported to be his Swedish girlfriend, Mariel Tamblay, was taken to Nicosia general hospital in a critical condition.

The Famagusta Gazette reported that the 56-year-old bus driver was treated for shock.
Friends paid tribute to the Salford University student on Twitter.
Tumi Marapo wrote: "Rest In Peace my brother, I will never forget you". Charlotte May said: "Cannot stop thinking about James Haggerty. Thoughts are with his family and his Napa family, thinking of you", while Paige Thompson wrote: "I'm in shock worst news ever just speaking with you yesterday! life's too short R.I.P."
