British Photographer, James Haggerty Dies In Moped Crash In Cyprus

According to a report by The Guardian, A 20-year-old photographer has died in a moped crash in Cyprus. James Haggerty, from Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, is understood to have been working at several nightclubs and beach parties in the resort of Ayia Napa. The moped he was riding hit a bus at a junction on Tuesday morning. A woman passenger, reported to be his Swedish girlfriend, Mariel Tamblay, was taken to Nicosia general hospital in a critical condition.

The Famagusta Gazette reported that the 56-year-old bus driver was treated for shock.
Friends paid tribute to the Salford University student on Twitter.

Thoughts are with his family and his Napa family, thinking of you", while Paige Thompson wrote: "I'm in shock worst news ever just speaking with you yesterday! life's too short R.I.P."
