Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths Partners Lagos State Government on Youth Empowerment Programmes

The Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths and the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor, Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, have partnered to positively impact the Yoruba community in Lagos and beyond.

This was disclosed in a statement jointly signed by Comrade Ayinde Abduljaleel, the National Coordinator of Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths, and Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Youth Development and Mobilization, and made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday.


The collaboration is a thorough process of thoughtful deliberation, strategic planning, and a shared commitment to the development and empowerment of the Yoruba people.


Acknowledging the importance of this initiative, both parties said they were committed to leveraging their strengths and resources to make a positive impact on the Yoruba community in Lagos and beyond. 


“We have built our partnership on mutual respect, shared goals, and a collective desire to work together towards a common purpose,” the parties stated. Through a series of productive meetings and discussions, both parties have identified areas for collaboration and developed a strategic plan for achieving their objectives.


The statement read in part, “One of the key areas of focus for the partnership is youth empowerment. The Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba youths and Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji recognize the importance of investing in the next generation of Yoruba leaders and providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. To this end, we have developed a series of programs and initiatives that aim to mentor, educate, and support Yoruba youth in their personal and professional development.


“Additionally, the partnership is focused on promoting cultural awareness and preservation within the Yoruba community. We believe that preserving and celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of the Yoruba people is essential to maintaining a strong sense of identity and unity. As such, we have planned a series of events and activities that will highlight the unique culture and history of the Yoruba people.”


The Asiwaju Coalition of Yoruba Youths is a group of young, dynamic individuals who are passionate about the progress and prosperity of the Yoruba people. They are dedicated to promoting unity, cultural preservation, and economic advancement within the Yoruba community. The group is led by a team of visionary leaders who are committed to fostering positive change and creating opportunities for Yoruba youths to thrive.


On the other hand, Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor, is a seasoned politician and public servant with a wealth of experience in youth mobilization and community development. He has a proven track record of championing initiatives that benefit the people of Lagos, and he has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the lives of Yoruba individuals.
