The event, titled 'Hunger Project With Street and Market Children in Ibadan,' unfolded on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

Speaking at the event, Samuel Kayode, the convener, emphasized that The Hunger Project extends beyond the act of providing meals. He described it as a collective effort to dismantle the barriers hindering the potential of the city's children.

Kayode stated, "We gather here today because we believe in a fundamental truth — that every child, irrespective of their circumstances, deserves a chance to dream and build a better future."

Highlighting the motivation behind The Hunger Project, he said, "This initiative is our response to address the challenges faced by the needy in our society. It is a manifestation of our commitment to break down these barriers and open doors of opportunity. We envision a world where hunger does not stifle ambition, where every child has the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive."

Expanding the scope of their impact, Kayode noted, "The communities we covered today, such as Molete, Challenge, Mobile, Dugbe, and Mokola, are not just locations on a map; they are vibrant hubs of potential, and we are here to ignite that potential."
