In the spirit of festive joy and unity, Asiwaju Focus Noni has extended a heartfelt welcome to President Bola Tinubu as he arrives in Lagos for the Christmas holiday.
Comrade Awokoya Oriyomi Yusuf, the Director General and National Coordinator of Asiwaju Focus Noni, expressed warm wishes for a joyful and peaceful holiday season in a statement made available to pressmen on Saturday.
He emphasized that this holiday season is a time of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness, urging every good citizen of Nigeria to be patient with the present administration.
"As we welcome President Bola Tinubu back to Lagos, Asiwaju Focus Noni sends its greetings to all Nigerians, extending wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We urge every good citizen of Nigeria to be patient and appreciate the support from the government. Most importantly, let us be happy and use whatever we have to celebrate the season without expecting too much or going beyond our means, for the little sacrifice will bring about a greater Nigeria. A great nation is rising with renewed hope and spirits," he said.
Awokoya also took the opportunity to call for the inclusiveness of support groups and their leadership in the current administration.
"The support group leaders are solidly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from the primary elections through the general election, and we are ready to work with His Excellency. We are using this medium to also request the major inclusion of the support group leaders that have truly worked through all the processes with Asiwaju. We also commend the Southwest Political Summit and the Tinubu National Think-Tank," he said.
The national coordinator further acknowledged the Minister of State for Youth Development, Engr. Ayowande Wisdom, and Asefon Sunday, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth Engagement, in recognition of their unwavering commitment to the development of Nigerian youth.
Awokoya noted that the duo has displayed commendable dedication to the cause of youth development, working tirelessly to create opportunities and avenues for the growth and empowerment of young people across the nation.
