What Kind Of Force Are You?

The world is full of different ideologies, perspectives and outlooks. All these were conceived by humans - people who took time to think about life and came up with their own views of how life should be lived, people who drew up their constitution and revealed it to others to abide by.


Either good or bad, they popularised their views and it's your choice to accept or not. In short, they were the driving force behind their views, they pushed their perspectives to the forefront for others to behold. Have you ever stopped to think about the concepts you are glamorizing or the ideals you believe the Creator himself formed and which you equally propagate? What kind of force is yours?

What nexus of views are you pushing to the forefront for others to recognize? The truth is that, as humans, we all have our convictions about what is right and/or wrong, what to be and not. We treat such convictions as sacrosanct and try our best possible to sell them to others. This plays out in our everyday lives. Whenever you update your status on social media platforms, whenever you discuss with your friends, whenever you share your views in your religious centre(s) or on the happenings around you, whenever you attempt to address a wrong or criticize any societal/moral concept, you are selling out your convictions to others and you are the force pushing them.

In our society, a lot of ills have become the norm. Premarital sex was frowned upon by both religion and morality, now it is viewed as a holy concept, widely accepted and even advised to be practised by relationship experts and the likes. It was someone who cooked this idea, popularised it, backed it with all kinds of proof and drove it to the forefront. It was also someone who conceived the concept of constructively criticizing the shortfalls of the government and drove it to the forefront. Now, the government is always reminded of its faults every day.

This is force in action. What kind of force are you? Are you the type that pushes to the forefront ills which have been glamorized and wrapped in pretty paper for the world to buy? Are you the type that pushes convictions which will put the human race and the Creator's laws in a head-on collision? Or are you the type that pushes to the forefront what is acceptable before God and before men who still have every modicum of their propriety intact?

Be cautious about the type of force you are and what you are pushing to the forefront. If you are the type that believes your views/values will bring about order and put right the wrongs humans have practised since time immemorial or the ones they are just inventing now, spit it out. Become a force and push it to the forefront. We should all bear in mind that our impacts on the sands of time will never be forgotten and our impacts will determine our reverence even after we are gone. The type of force we are and what we push becomes our impact. Be cautious of the impact you make.

 Be conscious of the force you are. When placed on the scales of the Almighty, will your type of force reward you with a crown of gold or with a crown of thorns? Make a choice and be wise when you do.
